June 2017 - Yosemite Kennel Club- Cormac was WD/BOW/BOBOH on Thursday and WD again on Friday for a major win.  Ciara was RWB both days.  Bred Aiden and Ciara...hoping it will be successful.

May 2017 - Gavilan KC - WD/BOW both days for Cormac.

April 2017 -  Chief Solano Kennel Club - another OHBOB and OH Group 2 for Aiden.

March 2017 - Kings Kennel Club was Cormac's debut.  He was awarded WD at his first show.

February 2017 - Sun Maid Kennel Club was a GREAT start for young Charm.  At her first all-breed show, she was awarded Best of Breed for a major win over all the champions.  Aiden was BOS to his little sister and OHBOB  .  The second day, Charm was awarded WB over the more mature girls and Aiden was awarded BOB and OHBOB and an OH group 2.

January 2017 -  We enjoyed the annual Monterey Beach Walk with the Northern California Irish Wolfhound Club.  Lots of fun with good people and their wonderful hounds.  Late in the month was the annual Golden Gate Kennel Club Show.  Unfortunately Ciara came into season, so she stayed home.  Aiden was a wonderful ambassador for the breed and was admired by hundreds of spectators all weekend.

December 2016 - Had a great time at the annual Gathering of the Cu where both puppies, Charm and Porsche made us proud.  Porsche's brother Bruce (later to be renamed Mannix) was awarded Best Puppy in Match.

November 2016 -  Had fun at the Turkey Circuit where Aiden continued to add grand champion points and a Group 2 in the Owner Handled Group.

October 2016 - a busy time at the Northern California Irish Wolfhound Club Specialty Shows.  Nuala was awarded Best Veteran both days and a special Judge's Award of Merit one day.  Charm was awarded Best puppy.  It is always a rewarding comment on our breeding program to have quality recognized at both ends of the age spectrum.  Later in the month, Aiden was awarded Best of Breed and a Group 2 in the Owner Handled Group at the Del Valle Dog Show to finish his Grand Champion title.

September 2016 - 3 shows in Vallejo one weekend, followed by a beautiful drive up to Oregon for the Irish Wolfhound Club of the Willamette Valley Match the following weekend.  We took two babies, 5 month old Porsche and 10 month old Charm for their first ring experiences.  In a lovely entry of quality puppies, Porsche and Charm each won their classes and Breeder/Judge, Donita Osborne, selected Porsche as Best in Jr. Sweepstakes.  Later in the day, under Breeder/Judge Amy Benjamin, both girls again won their classes and Charm went on to be select as Best Puppy, Best in Match (over the Best Adult) and Best Type (over several lovely adult hounds).

August 2016 - Busy this month caring for a lovely litter of pups for my friend Eva Harris.  Puppy breath is intoxicating.

July 2016 - Avoided the summer heat at home by going down to the beach for the Ventura Kennel Club Shows.  Later in the Monte we enjoyed another beach by going to Carmel for the Del Monte Kennel Club Shows and finally we attended the Irish Wolfhound Association of the West Coast Specialties in Lompoc.  A very busy month and Aiden continues to work toward his Grand Champion title.

June 2016 - Nessa babies began leaving for their forever homes.  We had a blast at the Woofstock Circuit in Vallejo.  Aiden added points toward his Grand Championship and Ciara earned a major toward her championship.

May 2016 - Busy month caring for Nessa's babies, but we did manage to sneak away to the Gavilan Kennel Club Shows where Aiden was BOB from the classes both days.

April 2016 - Started off the month with the arrival of eight beautiful puppies born to Ch. Fleetwind Carroy Nessa, by a frozen semen breeding of the late Fleetwind Putnam.

March 2016 - This was a busy show month.  Aiden and Ciarra attended three shows in Hanford and three shows in Vallejo.  In Hanford, Aiden was Winner's Dog all three days and went on to Best of Breed over 4 champions one of the days.  Ciarra was Winner's Bitch one day.  In Vallejo, Aiden was Winner's Dog two of the days and again went on to Best of Breed over four champions one day.  He also won Best of Breed Owner-Handled two of the days and on one occasion won the Owner-Handled Hound Group.  Ciarra was Winners Bitch two of the days.  We are very proud of both of these youngsters.

February 2016 - The big news this month was Nessa's surgical implant with frozen semen from Fleetwind Putnam, a stallion of a hound.

January 2016 - The end of the month brought the Golden Gate Kennel Club Show at the Cow Palace in San Francisco.  It was a wonderful weekend.  Our Dara is now Champion Fleetwind Carroy Dara.  In addition, Carroy Lying Eyes of Tory (AKA Taylor) finished his championship in grand style by going Best of Breed over 4 champions and 2 grand champions.
