What's New ?

It's been a disappointing month in the breeding arena.  We were unable to proceed with Aine's breeding to Oz, but are very hopeful that it will occur later in the year.  We bred Ciara to Jack (Ch. Carroy Samuarai Jack of Tory), but it doesn't appear that conception occurred...there's always next time.  We are watching closely for Charm to come into season.  She is due any day.
On a brighter note, Charm's two daughters, Shae and Gemma went to their new homes are both doing beautifully.   Caoilainn attended her first dog show in beautiful Carmel and behaved very well.  It was good practice for the IWAWC Specialty we will be attending at the end of the month.  Wish us luck!  The luck of the Irish was with us at IWAWC.  Ciara was awarded Winners Bitch and Best of Winners to finish her championship.  She also won the Brood Bitch class both days with her two daughters, Jada and Caoilainn.  Caoilainn placed 2nd and then 1st in the puppy bitch class and Jada placed in the ribbons in the big, highly competitive Open Bitch class which her mother won both days.
The best news is that all the dogs are happy and healthy...

Aine is in season and we are hoping to repeat her breeding to Supreme Grand Champion Glenfel's The Boy From Oz shortly.  Congratulations to Oz for being awarded Best Veteran and Best Sire's Progeny at the Irish Wolfhound Club of South Australia Specialty Show.  His daughter, Australian Ch Greycroft Irish Storm was awarded Best of Breed at the Specialty.

Puppy girls growing beautifully.  They are both  committed to wonderful show homes.

Just enjoying the puppies at home

Charm delivered two beautiful wheaten girls.  We are very excited at their prospects,  Congratulations to Junko Ishihara on her new champion, Ch Carroy's Samurai Jack of Tory, SC

Unfortunately the breeding of Aine to Oz was unsuccessful...now waiting to find out about the Charm to James breeding....always at the mercy of Mother Nature.

We started off the new year down at the Inland Empire Hound Show and the Kennel Club of Palm Springs All-Breed shows in Indio, California. Always a big entry of quality hounds. Charm was awarded Winner's Bitch for a lovely 4 point major to finish her championship.

Charm was bred mid month to frozen semen from Ch Carroy Ulysses of Gentor … fingers crossed!

We are taking a break from the show scene for a brief time while we excitedly await the arrival of our international litter out of Aine and the wonderful Boy from Oz, the top ranked Irish Wolfhound in Australia.
