What's New ?

JANUARY

We started the year in Indio at the Inland Empire Hound Show and the Palm Springs Kennel Club
shows.  Kieran was awarded Winners Dog for a 4 point major and Indie was chosen as Reserve
Winners Bitch the first day.  In addition, Kieran had his OFA x-rays taken which were later
confirmed to be hips good and elbows normal.  Indie had previously had hers done with
results of hips excellent and elbows normal.

FEBRUARY

We took Kieran, Ollie and Indie to the Sun Maid Kennel Club shows in Fresno.  The first day Indie was awarded Winners Bitch, then Best of Winners and finally advanced to Best of Breed over the champions for a big major win.  Ollie earned Reserve Winners Dog.  The next day Indie was again Winners Bitch for another major and Kieran was the big winner going Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Breed over the champions for a 4 point major to finish his championship.  These wins by young dogs from the classes are very special.

Later in the month we enjoyed the hounds in a different way by attending the annual Northern California IrishWolfhound Club's Monterey Beach Walk. There were about 50 owners and 33 well behaved hounds who strolled along the beach and through famed Cannery Row, enjoying the outing and educating the public about Irish Wolfhounds..
MARCH

This month the girls gave us two things to cheer about.  Indie finished her championship and later in the month
Jada blessed us with five beautiful babies by Ch. Carroy Kieran McDuncan
APRIL

This month was Ollie's turn for some fun as he accompanied Lynne to the Irish Wolfhound Club of America national specialty in Texas.  In the first photo he is pictured with friend and handler, Allyson Hicks and breeder/judge Knut Olav Wille from Norway.  The ten day road trip was a great educational opportunity for the young lad.  Later in the month he started on the way toearning his championship points.
